Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast was once a part of the Fierce Five 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. In the 2012 Olympics she won gold both on the team floor and the individual competitions. The bronze medal was awarded through the balance bar. In 2012 she was the first American athlete to earn the most medals during the Olympics. She won the gold in the team competition at the 2016 Olympics and was her as well as Gabby Douglas the first Americans to have back-to-back golds. Additionally, she won silver medals at the individual all-around event as well as for the floor workout. Between the two Olympics she had taken a break from competitive gymnastics for three years. Additionally she was a part of two gold medal-winning American gymnastics teams. Gymnastics was her first sport since age of two and her favorite sport is floor exercise. Aly is a part of her organization, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization in honor and memory of her mother. She plans to pursue the field of fashion, and hopes to broaden her leotard line and socks later on. She is writing a book called Fierce to be published later this year.
